Privacy Policy

Preview3D is a native macOS app for viewing and converting 3D models. It is built to run entirely on your Mac. Preview3D does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data.

Your files

The 3D models you open stay on your device. They are read, rendered, measured and converted locally. Preview3D never uploads your files or their contents anywhere.

No tracking

The app contains no analytics, advertising, tracking SDKs, or user accounts. It does not build a profile of you and does not use cookies.

No network

Preview3D makes no network connections at all — it has no network entitlement. It never contacts our servers or anyone else. Updates are delivered through the Mac App Store.

This website

The website at preview3d.xfanta.com uses privacy-friendly, cookieless Vercel Analytics to count aggregate page views. It does not identify individual visitors.

Our App Store links carry the site that referred you here — a search engine, a forum, a link in an article — so Apple's download report can tell which channel a purchase came from. Nothing is stored on your device, and no identifier for you is involved.

Purchases

Preview3D is sold through the Mac App Store. Payments and receipts are handled entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We never see your payment details.
